An insurance agent's CRM has two jobs a generic sales CRM doesn't: keeping track of every policy's renewal date, and quoting fast enough to win the client on the first call. The CRMs built for agencies handle both, and they are priced very differently: per agency at AgencyZoom, per plan at Insureio, by quote at AgencyBloc and per user at Salesforce. Here is what each costs, from its own pricing page.

AgencyZoom: best for an independent agency growing its book
AgencyZoom is a sales and retention platform for insurance agencies: it automates prospecting, onboarding and renewals around your book of business, and every independent-agency plan lists an integration with your agency management system (AMS), though the page notes some integrations may cost extra. Prices are per agency, not per user, and every plan includes up to 7 users. For independent agencies:
| Plan | Billed monthly | Highlights listed |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $149 a month | Prospecting automation, goal management, AMS integration, onboarding automation, revenue tracking, lead management |
| Growth | $199 a month | Prospecting, onboarding and renewal automation, revenue tracking, Google Reviews |
| Pro | $349 a month | Prospecting and renewal automation, AMS integration, events automation, service center, AgencyHR, click to call |
Paying annually takes 20% off. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial and one-on-one setup help covering pipelines, automation, data sync and user training. Month-to-month plans can be cancelled at any time. The Allstate and Farmers tabs show their own plan lists: three plans with a Folio sales report, and Single Location ($99 a month) and Multiple Location ($129 a month) plans.
What to watch: the features an agency notices first sit above the entry plan. Renewal automation and Google Reviews start at Growth, and the service center, click to call and AgencyHR at Pro. Some AMS integrations may cost extra to connect, and more than 7 users means a call to sales.
Choose it if you run an agency with a few producers and want renewals to stop slipping through the cracks, which means the Growth plan at $199 or above.
Insureio: best for a life insurance agent who quotes
Insureio pairs a CRM with quoting tools for life, simplified issue, final expense, no-exam and annuity products. Its plans are billed monthly:
| Plan | Price per month |
|---|---|
| Basic | $25 |
| Marketing | $50 |
| Agency Management | $50 |
| Marketing & Agency Management | $75 |
Every plan has a 30-day free trial, and Insureio also mentions a free EZLife version without listing what it includes. The consumer quoting widget for your website is included with every paid plan; on the free EZLife version it needs a Compulife subscription, which Insureio offers at $96 a year.
What to watch: the plans don't say how many users they cover, and a Team View add-on at $5 per team member is listed as coming soon, so ask before signing up a team.
Choose it if you sell life and final expense policies on your own or in a small team and want quotes and follow-up in the same place from $25 a month.
AgencyBloc: pricing on request
AgencyBloc does not publish prices. Its agency management system, AMS+, comes in Grow, Accelerate and Elevate tiers, and its Commissions+ and Quote+ products are packaged by the volume of commission transactions and groups quoted. Every option leads to "Request Customized Pricing Info". Ask for the first-year total, including setup and data migration, before you compare it with the published prices here.
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud: best for a brokerage with an admin team
Salesforce's edition for financial services starts at $325 per user a month for Sales Core or Service Core, $500 for Advanced and $700 for Max, all billed annually. Its insurance brokerage features are included with the Advanced and Max editions.
What to watch: at $3,900 a user a year before any setup work, this is priced for brokerages with an operations team and a Salesforce administrator, not for a five-person agency. The cheaper general CRMs are in Salesforce alternatives.
Choose it if you run a large brokerage that already lives in Salesforce or plans to staff it properly.
HubSpot or Zoho CRM: best if you want to start free
A general CRM costs nothing to start and is enough for a new agent with a few hundred contacts. HubSpot is free for up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts. Zoho CRM is free for 3 users, and its Standard edition costs $14 per user a month billed annually ($20 monthly), with mass email, built-in calling, multiple pipelines and sales forecasting.
Neither knows what a policy or a renewal date is, so you add those as custom fields and set your own reminders.
Choose it if you are new, have a few hundred contacts and would rather set up renewal reminders yourself than pay for an agency CRM. See Zoho CRM pricing and HubSpot CRM pricing for the paid tiers.
What a five-person agency pays in a year
| CRM | First-year cost | How it is worked out |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho CRM Standard | $840 | 5 users × $14 × 12, billed annually |
| AgencyZoom Essential | $1,788 | $149 a month × 12, billed monthly, up to 7 users |
| AgencyZoom Growth | $2,388 | $199 a month × 12, billed monthly, up to 7 users |
| AgencyZoom Pro | $4,188 | $349 a month × 12, billed monthly, up to 7 users |
| Salesforce FSC Sales Core | $19,500 | 5 users × $325 × 12, billed annually |
AgencyZoom's annual billing takes 20% off each of its figures. Insureio is left out because its page does not say how many users a plan covers, and AgencyBloc because it does not publish prices.
